The man who became known as the Janesville serial rapist was sentenced Friday to 195 years in prison.
Michael Huber, 33, was sentenced in Rock County Circuit Court on six felony charges of first-degree sexual assault. He had pleaded guilty to the charges. A charge of second-degree sexual assault of a child was dismissed but read in at sentencing.
Huber admitted to six home invasions from 1998 to 2005 and was charged in two of them, one in 1998 and the other in 2003, court records show. He was arrested in February 2008 after a 10-year investigation.
All six victims spoke at the sentencing, saying their lives changed forever because of the terror Huber caused them.
Huber apologized and asked for forgiveness.
