Something's got to be done to rein these bastards in. They're going to harm your reputation because you're thrifty and don't spend as much money as they think you should on the products they approve?
I personally had my auto insurance rates jacked up a few months ago because someone I cosigned a student loan for got behind in their payments and my credit score was damaged. I'd love to see the studies that show such an event makes me a more dangerous motorist. Seems to me that publishing and spreading false and damaging information about someone is the very definition of slander and libel. We have given these credit bureau clowns way too much control over our lives.
