POLICE: Bloomington Man Caught with Porn in Suitcase
A 62-year-old Bloomington man faces felony charges after police say he was caught with numerous pages of child pornography in his suitcase at Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport.
Airport Police were notified after a TSA employee said an explosive device tracker was alerted to Bruce Carlton Johnson's suitcase on Jan. 9, 2007.
Inside, officers found several sexual photos of minors. When investigators questioned Johnson, he stated his 'life was over,' according to the criminal complaint.
After executing a search warrant at his home, authorities confiscated a computer from Johnson. On it, officials found nearly 2,000 child pornography images.
Johnson faces felony possession of pornographic work involving a minor. If convicted, he faces up to five years in prison, a $5,000 fine, or both.
