Surveys show that students in the Minnesota state university and college system are still having some problems transferring credits between schools.
That's absolutely ridiculous. ANY class taken at one of those schools should at least count toward general education electives at any school in the system. Any class that reasonably resembles a low level intro class in a major field should be accepted, within reason. Refusal to do so between school s in the same state and system is nothing short of a walletectomy by university officials. At the end of the day, it's pretty hard to argue that a class taken from a full professor at a state college is of inferior quality to one taught by a grad assistant at a major university. Let's end the charade of superiority and the practice of picking students' pockets over such nonsense- NOW.
