Julia Lund, a teacher at Chaska High School was recently charged with third-degree sexual misconduct. The married 28-year-old solicited the student with text messages and cell phone calls, saying that she was lonely as her husband was away five days every week. She invited the student to meet her at a Park in Eden Prairie and had oral sex with him.

I have been watching NBC Dateline's Catch a Predator, which is about pedophiles on the internet. All those who got caught on camera for having the intention of having sex with an underage child were men. Furthermore, for every female teacher doing it there are probably two male teachers doing it, our children are being raped by the public school system both figuratively and literally.

If Julia Lund were to admit she was a Republican and a Southern Baptist, THEN the local media would pay attention... She's a teacher, so she gets a free pass.

She was found not guilty of the third-degree criminal sexual conduct. It sure sounded like she was guilty if you followed the news. I guess the media didn't tell or didn't have the whole story.

What is interesting was that the boy, a star athlete reported the incident after his girlfriend found out a text message from Lund on his cell phone. I won't be suprised he was trying to cover his ass for cheating on his girlfriend.

Sometimes in these adult/minor sex cases, it's the parents who get wind of it and want to press the issue. The report and complaint rarely come from the kid themselves.

So you're saying that all the women teachers who've been prosecuted over the years and made inot TV movies were southern and republican? I'd be REEEEALLLY curious to see you back that up.

Are you freaking serious? A "handful"? There were hundreds in the recent California settlement alone. And it's absolutely not limited to 20-30 years ago, and even in the cases where it was, that's how long the COVERUP lasted. With the Catholic church there has been an AT LEAST institutional blind eye shown to these bastards for years, and in hundreds of cases, their behavior was actively covered up as the priests were shifted between precincts. As many teachers as there are, it's far from an "epidemic" and I've never read a damn thing about it being instituionally covered up.

After reviewing the rogue's photo list, all I can say is: Why didn't this happen to me?
