A nice story about two North Minneapolis bike cops who go above and beyond to connect with the most vulnerable and needy of the City's kids. Reading the article, it's pretty clear that these cops understand the lives of the people they serve, and are giving from the heart to some children who badly need that kind of reassurance that someone cares.

You see - hear - and smell - things much differently from a bike than you do from a car.

Cops on bikes - during good weather - are a good idea. Saves a bunch on gas, tires and brakes, too!

Probably helps to improve cop cardio-vascular health, too!
