Job Responsibilities


Responsible for managing benefits and communicating them in a practical manner to employees at all levels of the corporation. Also responsible for employee training as well as plan design. In addition, will have input into third party administration decisions. Plan and direct implementation and administration of benefits programs with an emphasis on health insurance. Communicate health insurance and other benefits information to employees on a practical basis. Participate in new and renewal of contracts for medical, dental, vision, and prescription administrator. Direct performance of clerical functions such as updating records and ensuring insurance claims are processed in a timely manner. Handle critical health insurance claims and assist employees with claim questions and problems. Develop, design and implements seminars and broad training presentations to assist employees’ understanding of health insurance.

Job Requirements

B/A preferred, not required 3 -5 years. Benefits Specialist experience.

Compensation

Up to $50,000, direct hire
