First, if you haven't been to the Market, it's right by Chicago on Lake St in the old Sears Bldg. There's usually live music, and all the food I've had is fantastic and pretty cheap. La Sirena Gorda means The Fat Mermaid, and if there's a better name for a seafood stand, I haven't heard one. One time I had 3 Marlin Flautas for like 4 bucks, and this time the mahi mahi taco plate with rice and beans for 6. Pus, at the West Indies Soul Food right across from it, there's homemade ginger beer. Ho. Lee. God. The place as a whole is underperforming like crazy so far, so support them if you can.
