Yes, among the many scams abounding the Internet are the "earning" scams that promise you a steady flow of wealth and goodies for doing damn near nothing. Sounds like the job I've been seeking all my life.
But I did accidentally stumble across an earning site that is for real, and delivers what they promise. It's e-Rewards, an email survey site. After you sign up, they regularly send you emails with opportunities to take online surveys and earn "cash" in your account. It's usually a modest amount- maybe $3-5 per short survey, and around .50 if you respond but don't qualify. I've been with them for a couple of years now, and have cashed in my balances for chunks of frequent flyer miles and most recently a restaurant gift card. Had dinner at Bucca De Beppo last night with my daughter courtesy of the nice folks at e-Rewards.
Check 'em out. Once in a while a survey malfunctions, but they generally work properly and promptly credit your account for participating.
