If you like nice clothes and home accessories on a budget, this is the store for you. I'm a Kohl's charge holder, and regularly get special offers and discount certificates for their sales. Today we went in and bought clothing at their Early Bird sale. Combined with the 15% off coupon (good on everything, including clearances), we came away with a number of great bargains, including 4 name brand dress shirts I bought for about $5 each on average.
One caveat= you get the special offers by holding their charge card, but you don't want to carry a balance on it. They charge 21.9% interest, considerably higher than the average Visa/Mastercard. Staying on their preferred customer list requires you to make about $600 in purchases per year. Keep your balance paid off, and you'll do well with Kohl's.
