I opened an account at the M&I bank in Richfield (66 & Lyndale) on a Saturday earlier this year. I got there around 11:30 am and their close time was 12:00. Only one banker named Debbie was there to help new customers. I was told to wait even after the bank closed. Finally, after waiting for nearly 50 mins, I got helped.

A couple of weeks ago on a weekday, I went back there to close the account. There were certainly more bankers, but everyone seemed to be busy with something else. I waited nearly 25 mins before the same Debbie helped me.

This is a rather big branch office, but seems seriously understaffed. It is godd they have a TV with CNN on it. I have banked at TCF and US Bank. Never had to wait over 10 mins. So, this was a new experience.
