New Hope is taking applications for a Community Development Assistant. Assist the CD Director in all areas of Community Development with the primary focus being on housing and commercial redevelopment projects, planning and development, coordination of advisory task force groups, administration of grants, and other projects as assigned. Minimum requirements are Bachelor’s degree in Urban Planning, Housing, Public Administration, or closely related field; Master’s degree is desired; one year experience in planning, housing, or public administration is required, two is desired; knowledge of local, state, and federal government process and programs relating to community development and housing activities; excellent verbal and written communications skills.
