Census plans to hire thousands in Minnesota for 2010 count
The St. Paul U.S. Census Bureau office is in the process of hiring thousands of temporary workers to help gather information for the state of Minnesota for the 2010 Census.
This is a great opportunity for retirees, students and anyone who is in between jobs or needs part-time work. Interested applicants must be 18 years or older, have a valid social security number and be available to work 20 to 40 hours per week.
They will be paid prevailing wage of their county and receive 55 cents per mile when driving is required.
Applicants are needed for jobs beginning in April and jobs that will be performed throughout the year 2009 and part of 2010. Jobs last from five to ten Weeks.
