This guy would have been first in line to crucify Christ, make no mistake about it. Has he READ the Bible?

The bully pulpit of Fox "News" won't be a match for church pulpits. Rightwingers' one newcomer authority figure vs thousands of their lifelong authority figures doessn't auger well for Beck's chances. Be interesting to see how many priests mention Beck in their sermons this Sunday, and how many find their way onto the internet.

It'll also be interesting to seek if Fox takes him off the air when he suffers a Howard Beale breakdown or if they leave him on the air for the ratings. I'm betting they leave him on, life imitating art.

Ah, I was looking for an example of that other side of the sword that is the First Amendment. Thank you Beck. You've successfully made America dumber.
