Post Vegetarian-friendly restaurants
I'm taking my sister out to dinner tonight. She just got back to Mpls after 4 years in Chicago and I'm excited to introduce her to some of my favorite places. She's a vegetarian, so I want to take her someplace very vegetarian-friendly. I think we've decided on the Triple Rock for tonight, but for future reference, what are some really good veggie-friendly restaurants in the Twin Cities? (And by veggie-friendly I don't mean that they have one salad on the menu with no meat).

So far I've come up with:

Triple Rock
Cafe Brenda
Ecopolitan
Tao
Nala Pak (vegetarian Indian place in Columbia Heights)
Seward Cafe
Pizza Luce

any other good ones I'm forgetting?

I know this message is too late to be of use to you in deciding where to take your sister, but for any future reference, here are some places I (as another veggie) like:

-Evergreen- this is on about nicollet and 26th. Taiwanese and Chinese food, and about the only Chinese place I've found with pretty expansive vegetarian options, if any.

-Most Thai places have quite a few veggie options. The last place I went was Taste of Thailand in St. Paul. Amazing soup!

-Marla's Caribbean Cuisine, on nicollet and 35th, where Jamaica Jamaica used to be. Curry and jerk meats, tofu, and veggies, and lots of astoundingly delicious spice. I now really want their jerk tofu, but alas, I'm way down in southern minnesota now.

-Hard Times, cedar/riverside area. not for a fancy dinner or anything, but everything is either vegetarian or vegan. They have a full menu for food, plus bakery items and coffee. I like it.

Post Cafe Agri
Cafe Agri is only 3 months old. Located in South Minneapolis. Had dinner there Sunday evening.

4300 Bryant Avenue South, Minneapolis, Minnesota

They have a very healthy menu. All locally grown. No meat dishes. Only one fish dish.

http://cafeagri.com

It is fairly good.
