I planted my White German garlic last night in our newly expanded garden! I got to use some of the rich, teeming compost we've been a-brewin' all summer, and today the wee bulbs are being given a big drink of water from the sky. Next summer we'll have our own home-grown garlic to eat.

What are you currently sowing that you hope to reap later? What are you currently reaping that you previously sowed?

I invested many years in raising and nurturing my daughters. Both are now in college, and are busy exploring the larger world, sampling new things, and gaining skills and knowledge. I believe that they are gradually discovering what is important to them and trying to figure out what life will both give them personal satisfaction and fulfillment and keep a roof over their heads at the same time. I am very pleased to see that they appear to have been given a good balance of freedom and structure to let this process unfold in a good way. Fingers crossed!

I'm hoping to do more schooling stuffs soon. We'll see how that works out. Going to get in to some SharePoint love, maybe some proper Linux/Unix administration and perhaps a PHP class or six is an order. Probably .NET though since I'm trying to move in to SharePoint.
