My daughter attends college about 3-4 hours away and rarely comes home due to a full school and work schedule.
Her supply of contact lenses has run out. I stopped by her local eye care center to order a supply for her, and was told that I couldn't because her prescription had expired. I asked if she could get a temporary supply (a pair or two) until she could get an exam and new Rx.
Nope.
Ok. I understand Rx rules. Maybe you were taking some medicine, and the doctor needs to reevaluate you to make sure nothing's changed and that the medicine is still proper for you. That makes sense.
But contact lenses? Like she's gonna go blind if she puts in a lense from an outdated eye exam?
