A 13 year old girl who said she was raped by several men was sentenced to die by Muslim fundamentalists and stoned to death in front of an audience of 1,000 at a local stadium.

If it weren't for a few other things that balance stories like this out, I'd swear that the world had gone mad and we were destined for destruction any moment.

But...it does also bring a point to mind. If you witness something like this happening, and do nothing to prevent it...does it make you an accessory to murder?

No. The lone voice of sanity is quickly drown out by the voices of those taken by mob mentality. For action against mob mentality, you need something louder.
