SunOpta Bioprocess Inc received a $1 million grant to create a pilot project for converting cellulose bearing materials such as wood chips into ethanol on a commercial scale.
Promising technology. It would be great to see the conversion of waste materials into fuel sources without effecting the food production capacity of agricultural land, putting upward pressure on food prices and using large volumes of energy just to produce it.
