 Scott Wollmering Bankrupted LIAR
Fraud Alert!!! - The infamous REMAX realtor Scott Wollmering now is hosting another radio talk show on on FM 107.1. Here is the man who had been sued by 5 local banks and one local law firm. He filed bankruptcy to get out of his debts. Now is he is on the air wave to advise others. What a pathetic joke Scott Wollmering is!
UPDATE: Scott Wollmering's driver's license was REVOKED on September 30, 2004 by Minnesota's Department of Public Safety. On October 13, 2004, Scott Wollmering's attorney filed a Petition for License Reinstatement at the Dakota County Court. We have the obtained the court record of this case (CASE NO. 19-C1-04-015502). Do you want to work with a Minnesota realtor who just filed bankruptcy? Then, ReMax Realtor Scott Wollmering will be your guy.
Scott Wollmering is the host of local radio show about real estate on FM 100.3 talk radio. He leads a team of real estate agents, We Team.
According to the Bankruptcy Court record, Scott Wollmering filed Chapter 7 Bankruptcy on Dec 12, 2008. He is represented by a law firm in Bloomington. Scott Wollmering Bankruptcy case number is 08-36593
You can call the court at 612-664-5200 to verify the information.
I heard of Scott Wollmering talk show a couple of times. It is mostly about self-promoting and bragging. His real estate team did pretty well for a few years, ranked as a top ReMax team. I hope he would talk about how to avoid bankruptcy someday soon.
I wonder if ReMax want to have Scott Wollmering to represent them through a radio show. Having a bankrupted realtor to work for you isn't a good idea either. I don't know if someone should draw any conclusion from the bankruptcy filing of a realtor or real estate agent. I would rather work with an agent who is a good financial shape, instead of a bankrupted one like Scott Wollmering.

 RE: Scott Wollmering Filed Bankruptcy
Did this guy rob you or something?
I'd imagine that lots of people who are heavily invested in real estate, or who depended on the commissions from real estate sales are in trouble right now.
Sad situation for him. Sad situation for his creditors. Where do you fit into this story?

 Scott Wollmering
My company is one of Scott Wollmering's creditors. Scott Wollmering refused to pay for the full amount of our service. Our collection agency sued his company "The We Team LLC". We won the case by default and got a civil judgment against Scott Wollmering. We were notified by the bankrupty court about Scott Wollmering's filing late last year.

 Scott Wollmering Attorney's Letter
The following is a letter from Scott Wollmering's attorney on March 6, 2009:
Quote:This firm has been retained by Scott Wollmering to address very serious false and damaging statements that you have posted on your website minneapolisfinder.com. We demand that you cease and desist posting libelous statements about Mr. Wollmering on your website and that you immediately remove the existing libelous po stings before you have inflicted further damage upon Mr. Wollmering's reputation.
Postings that you have made on your website on February 13, February 15, February 17, February 19, February 22 .and March 2 contain false statements clearly intended to injure the reputation of Mr. Wollmering. As you are fully aware, Mr. Wollmering has availed himself of his legal rights under the federal bankruptcy statutes and has a discharge of his personal debts currently pending.
More egregiously, you make wildly speculative and ultimately false assertions about legal actions to which Mr. Wollmering may have been named as a party, without any knowledge on your part about what the underlying facts and circumstances are with respect to these disputes. For example, your February 22, 2009, posting refers to a lawsuit by Denise and James Casey in which Edina Realty and Mr. W ollmering were named as defendants. You state, "it sounded like Scott Wollmering screwed his client." In fact, the Caseys were misled by the seller of a property they purchased in Prior Lake concerning the boundaries of the land that they were acquiring. Mr. Wollmering discovered this when he investigated the matter at the County Recorder's office in Scott County. It was at Mr. Wollmering's suggestion that the Caseys name him as a defendant in the lawsuit to insure that all parties to the transaction would be joined in the action. No liability on the part of Mr. W ollmering was ever determined by a court of law, and the Caseys in fact recovered from the sellers. Furthermore, as I believe Mr. Wollmering has told you, Mr. Casey later came to work for Mr. Wollmering.
Additionally, you repeatedly characterize your civil dispute with Mr. Wollmering as one in which he "cheated" and "scammed" your company. As I know Mr. Wollmering has already told you on more than one occasion, he had a problem with your services and what you promised to deliver. Civil disputes of this nature happen every day. Unless you have hard evidence, you should not be publishing accusations on the internet that a party is a liar or a scam artist or a cheater. Furthermore, because you are a scheduled creditor in Mr. Wollmering's personal bankruptcy, your repeated po stings concerning your business dispute with Mr. Wollmering could very well be a violation of the federal bankruptcy law's automatic stay provisions. Your postings have all the appearance of an attempt to conduct an end run around the automatic stay and collect your debt, notwithstanding the federal bankruptcy protections that are now afforded to Mr. Wollmering.
Scott Wollmering is a well-known realtor in the Twin Cities area who has a radio talk show discussing real estate on KTLK-FM radio. The continuing threat of your libelous postings concerning Mr. Wollmering are damaging to his reputation in this community. We have been able to determine from your own website, minneapolisfinder.com, the number of viewings by internet users of your defamatory posts of Mr. Wollmering so there is no doubt that one of the essential elements for proving up the claim of libel is present-publishing of false statements to others. Moreover, we have hard evidence of damage to Mr. Wollmering's reputation. Mr. Wollmering's employers at Clear Channel and KTLK-FM have received at least one email from an individual who said that Mr. Wollmering should not be on the air. This person's opinion was solely based on your internet postings; he even provided the link to your website as evidence for the statements that he made about Mr. Wollmering in his email. Rest assured that if Mr.
Wollmering loses his radio show as a result of your postings, he will suffer substantial damages for which we will hold you liable.
It is imperative that you immediately cease and desist from posting and that you immediately remove from your website any and all postings that you have made against Scott Wollmering. Your failure to do so will leave us no choice but to bring a legal action against you for injunctive relief and all damages suffered by Mr. Wollmering as a result of your actions.

 Scott Wollmering
If you are a service provider in the Twin Cities, here is a word that you need to remember when REMAX realtor Scott Wollmering or his company We Team MN hires your service - RETAINER!
Ask this scam artist to pay you a good retainer because there is a good chance he will stiff you once it is time for him to pay. I wish I knew this when I did the service for him.
Scott Wollmering once told me over the phone that "I am the nicest guy you have ever worked with." Yeah, right - I bet he told that to those 5 banks that filed lawsuits against him. 2 weeks after he told us that line of BS, he told us he would not pay us for our services. A few months later, we got a notice that he filed personal bankruptcy.
Scott Wollmering - What a LOSER!

 Scott Wollmering
The 5 stages of loss are listed below. You'll move beyond #2 eventually, I'm sure. How much money did the guy stiff you for? Was it just for your services or were you out actual purchased product or wages paid to employees? Shit happens.
1. Denial and Isolation
The first reaction to learning Scott Wollmering fucked you is to deny the reality of the situation. It is a normal reaction to rationalize overwhelming emotions. It is a defense mechanism that buffers the immediate shock. We block out the words and hide from the facts. This is a temporary response that carries us through the first wave of pain.
2. Anger
As the masking effects of denial and isolation begin to wear, reality and its pain re-emerge. We are not ready. The intense emotion is deflected from our vulnerable core, redirected and expressed instead as anger. The anger may be aimed at inanimate objects, complete strangers, friends or family. Anger may be directed at Scott Wollmering. Rationally, we know the person is not to be blamed. Emotionally, however, we may resent the person for causing us pain or for leaving us. We feel guilty for being angry, and this makes us more angry.
The bankruptcy court might become a convenient target. Legal professionals deal with bankruptcy every day. That does not make them immune to the suffering of the deadbeats or to their creditors.
Do not hesitate to ask the court to give you extra time or to explain just once more the details of your Scott Wollmering's finances. Arrange a special appointment or ask that he telephone you at the end of his day. Ask for clear answers to your questions regarding Scott Wollmering. Understand the options available to you. Take your time.
3. Bargaining
The normal reaction to feelings of helplessness and vulnerability is often a need to regain control.
4. Depression
Two types of depression are associated with mourning. The first one is a reaction to practical implications relating to the loss. Sadness and regret predominate this type of depression. We worry about Scott Wollmering. We worry that, in our grief, we have spent less time with others that depend on us. This phase may be eased by simple clarification and reassurance. We may need a bit of helpful cooperation and a few kind words. The second type of depression is more subtle and, in a sense, perhaps more private. It is our quiet preparation to separate and to bid Scott Wollmering farewell. Sometimes all we really need is a hug.
5. Acceptance
Reaching this stage of mourning is a gift not afforded to everyone. Scott Wollmering's bankruptcy may be sudden and unexpected or we may never see beyond our anger or denial. It is not necessarily a mark of bravery to resist the inevitable and to deny ourselves the opportunity to make our peace. This phase is marked by withdrawal and calm. This is not a period of happiness and must be distinguished from depression.
