MINNEAPOLIS - The Better Business Bureau is warning people of a phone scam that claims they have won a big prize. The scam even uses the BBB’s name.
People in Minnesota and North Dakota say they've gotten calls, claiming they've won millions of dollars or a new car.
In each scam, the caller gives a Better Business Bureau approval code or says they are with the organization.
The caller also asks for bank account information needed to claim the prize.
The BBB says it's a scam 100 percent of the time.
