Rep Michelle Bachmann in a rare moment of clarity. She rightfully objects to the fact that decisions on the reorganization strategy of General Motors are being made on the basis of political clout and the intervention of elected Congress members. She cites two examples of GM dealerships that were slated to be closed until a local Congressmember stepped in and got the decision reversed. We have a right to better government than one based on naked ring kissing and campaign contribution gear greasing. That wasn't exactly the change we had in mind. Sounds more like American politics at its worst.
