I had to call a 1-877 number from work the other day, and accidentally dialed 1-800 instead, before the rest of the seven digits, and ended up listening to about 15 seconds of a breathy woman telling me to sit back, relax, and enjoy talking to her girls before I realized my mistake. Yikes.

This program doesn't give money to Muslim organizations to do with as they please. It funds meetings between the police and an ethnic/religious group to foster communication and cooperation. That's a pretty major difference.

Yeah, I'm not liable for the charges, but I have to go through the hassle of canceling that card, ordering a new one, replacing my CC number on file at places all over town that charge it automatically every month (NPR, my gym, Netflix, pet insurance, etc.), not to mention feeling dirty and violated...

As someone who has had a credit card stolen twice in the past 18 months, I deeply appreciate being asked for my zip code or ID. Getting the call that your card is being charged all over town is no fun.
