Perhaps a hasty jump to a conclusion in the first post? Haven't we all heard, and perhaps felt a bit foolish, the news that the LaCrosse team members accused of raping an exotic dancer have had the charges dropped? I believe the prosecutor is in line for some investigation into possible criminal cha...

Tardy Abortion? I think not.

For those like NP who feel that doctors who perform abortions are these amoral, unfeeling killers, I'd like to refer you to a friend of mine. She has no health insurance so she gets all her gynocological exams and her birth control at Planned Parenthood. She's had people at her place of work tell he...

victim: No, not displaced anger at all. Bronson McNeal is a scum sucking jerk, but I"m still saddened by the number of women that fall for his con. Are there so many desperate women out there that they will believe the line of "horse-pucky" this man shovels at them? Please, ladies, think long and ha...

I need to rent this movie, but only on a night when I don't plan to eat dinner, or sleep it seems. I know more than a few evangelical Christians and Born Again Christians and generally find them to be self absorbed, prejudicial menaces. How can an intelligent human willingly turn over their mind and...

Your worst date ever...

What was your worst date ever?

Mine was a blind date set up by my roommate in college. The only thing the guy and I had in common was that we were the same height.

Easiest diet tricks

Pay attention while you're eating. Don't watch TV, read, talk on the phone, etc. Sit down and enjoy the taste of your meal. If you have standard American style dinnerware, go out and buy a small, inexpensive set of plates to use with them. The dinner plate should be no more than 9". If you eat out, ...

Another Dead Baby

This time in Oakdale police found a dead newborn in a garbage can outside a residence. The parents of the 17yr old mother, when asked, said they knew nothing of a pregnancy. Does this 17yr old Tartan highschool student live away from home? Is she invisible? Am I completely deranged in finding someth...

Guns controlled

Okay, that hit a nerve. If I live in a city where there is a reasonable probablilty that I will be raped simply walking in the park once a week, I will move. Minneapolis, for the most part, is NOT that awful. It isn't a Disneyesque wonderland of happy, friendly, helpful folks, but neither is it a do...
