I would contact the City Councilmember for the U district, or one of the at-large members since you live and work in (I assume) two different districts. See what they have to say about it.

I'm not passing judgment, but I'm always confused by marriages that end in divorce after so many years. To me, it would seem, once you make it past 10 years, divorce is just odd.
