Researchers at the University of Texas at Austin asked 2000 subjects why they had sex, and got 237 reasons. They've categorized their findings, most of which won't surprise anyone, but they're studying some of the finds, too. For instance, the men were far more likely to have sex for status or advancement than the women.
The biggest surprise: if you think the answer to why people have sex is obvious, it wasn't. At all.
