Minneapolis Air Conditioner Sales

Twin Cities Air Conditioner is a Factory Authorized Carrier Dealer in Minnesota. We sell Carrier's full line of residential and commercial HVAC products, including central air conditioners, ductless mini-split air conditioners and rooftop HVAC units. We have nearly 30 years of experience serving customers in the Minneapolis St. Paul metro area. We have earned our reputation as the most trusted heating and cooling company in Minnesota.

We install central or ductless air conditioners to meet the specifications of our residential and commercial customers. Whether you are looking for an economical model or a high-efficiency model, we can quickly supply and install it at your property at a low price. We offer these 5 product lines:
  • Base Models - these low-cost units offer up to 16 SEER ratings with excellent warranty
  • Comfort Models - these units are highly affordable while offering solid performance. Advanced engineering offers quiet cooling while saving energy.
  • Performance Models - combining affordability with high energy efficiency, these air conditioners are our most popular products. The efficiency ratings are up to 18 SEER.
  • Infinity Models - providing maximum home comfort and highest energy savings. Whisper-quiet operation, durable design and 10-year warranty make this the ideal product for many homes.
  • Ductless AC - for homes with boiler heating, these mini-split AC units offer quiet, efficient cooling without air ducts.

For nearly 30 years, we have been serving central and ductless air conditioners of all models and brands, including Lennox, Carrier, Daikin, Payne, Bryant, Ruud, Rheem, Trane and LG. If your air conditioning system doesn't function properly, we will be happy to either repair it or replace it.

In recent years, manufacturers of air conditioners have made dramatic progress in increasing the SEER ratings. Given the higher energy cost, it may make economic sense to purchase a new, more efficient unit now and immediately lower your operating costs. Many energy companies, include Xcel and Center Point Energy, are offering rebates for updated newer heating and cooling equipment. In the long run, the more efficient heating and cooling unit will pay for itself through decreased utility bills. In the meantime, you'll gain the added benefits of greater reliability and lower maintenance cost.

Cooling efficiency for your air conditioner is indicated by its SEER (Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio) rating, which tells you how efficiently your unit uses electricity. In general, the higher the SEER rating, the less electricity your unit will use to cool your home. The typical SEER rating of units made before 1992 is about 6.0. In 1992, the government established the minimum cooling efficiency standard for units installed in new homes at 10.0 SEER. High-efficiency units have a SEER of at least 12.0; the maximum available is about 17. Our company carries a large selection of high efficiency air conditioners made by Lennox, Carrier and LG. Our minimum SEER rating is 13. If you are looking into getting rid of your old AC system and replace with a newer, quieter model, we'll come to your home when it's convenient for you. Our representative will prepare an estimate so you can make a fully informed decision about your purchase. Once you decide, we'll set up an installation appointment that fits your schedule.

We honor all rebates by air conditioner manufacturers and energy companies. If you purchase an AC and furnace package, you can save $1,500 instantly, along with up to $1,500 rebates from manufacturing and energy companies. We will help you choose the models that maximize your rebates and savings.
