Furnace Troubleshooting Tip - No Heat or Not Enough Heat
Thermostat is set too low and doesn't turn on the furnace properly. Or the thermostat is not working. Another cause may that be the circuit breaker or fuse controlling the furnace is blown. Check if the natural gas control valve is closed and make sure the pilot light is on before calling for service. To troubleshoot, make sure the thermostat is set in heat mode and the temperature setting is not too low. Turn the thermostat up a few degrees to trigger the furnace on. Re-seating the thermostat may resolve the problem sometimes. If the circuit breaker is blown, replace the fuse. You can always call our Minneapolis furnace experts and we will offer you diagnostic tips over the phone.
